Monstertaal is a game I made during my internship at Grendel Games.
It's an educational game for mobile that makes use of augmented reality.
Children explore the streets looking for street signs. When they point their camera at one a monster will pop out.
The monster will say a sentence in a foreign language that the children need to identify the language of and decipher.
After that the monster gets added to a monster collection screen.
It was made in Unity using Vuforia for the AR aspect.
The majority of the code was written by me.
UI was made by Anne Draaisma.
Monsters were made by Quirina Wiersma.
